{52 weeks of black & white}

lately i have been feeling a bit odd. i say odd because it is.. it's not me. so i did a lot of thinking and i found that i needed to pick up my camera not only for work but for me. to document my life for my kids, my kids kids and well for whom ever wants to know who i am.
theres a lot of personal projects out there. like a picture a day for a year.. i can't do it. I can't do just one picture a day. so instead i am doing my own thing. there's rules..i made them up and i like them. i will tell you a few.
images can not be posed. i won't ask my subjects to look at me, stand there..do this do that. it's whatever i get the second i hold down my shutter...ok that is one. the other is they will all be black and white. i will do this for a year. this is a weekly project. i don't know how many images a week i will post. it can be 2 or 22..there is no limit-my whole deal is document my life and the life around me weekly. my life is crazy. some days i will take about 500 plus frames and some days 2..so with all said here is to 52 weeks of my life.
I still haven't picked the day i will post...sunday..monday or tuesday.. I will figure that out soon.

Fighting like cats and dogs! Keeping each other company those Friday nights welcoming the Sabbath...(WE WERE BORED OUT OF OUR MINDS!!!!)

It's been 8 months and 13 days since we lost Sylvia. My girls and I talk a lot about her, especially CynthiaD and I. She loves talking about her tia Sylvia and her advice about learning to walk in heels now, so when she is older she will be able to wear them all day long with no problem! My daughter cracks me up!
Last week Sunday Lil Cyn and I we're hanging out watching some ghost stories on TV..I know I'm a sucker for ghost stories. After watching this paticular episode about a famous actor having an "out of body death experience" Cyn looked at me with watery eyes and a little smile. She said, "mom, I think Tia Sylvia had one of those out of body experience and picked to go to heaven to be with her Isai!" I felt the tears roll down, I hugged her and said, "Yes, yes of course!

Although our beliefs are different, I had to share this with you all. The comfort it gave me to think, Yes, my sister is resting now and waiting for our LORD to take her home where she will see her Isai. I can't wait to go!

Family, I know it's hard cause we are hurting, but we're stronger people in the growing and the knowing that heaven will be our home one day! I hope you find the same comforter I found in Lil Cyn's words, "she picked to go to heaven to be with her Isai!"

Back in September my sister Sylvia and Jesse took a trip. I remember calling her that weekend and she answered. I don't remember why I called, but we talked for a bit and then she said with a bit of a laugh that she and Jesse were on their second honeymoon. I laughed, she laughed. They were on a weekend trip, just them two! I remember telling her, "Oh ok, I will let you get back to your honeymoon silly!" I teased her, and said something like "check you out..taking off and not telling me!"
We said our "good-byes", our "I love yous" and we hung up.
I remember sitting there and thinking to myself how awesome is that! Traveling with your love. I felt so much happiness inside for Sylvia and Jesse.

Fast forward to December 6th, her birthday. Jesse handed me and Sali these bags. A gift she intended to give to us but we never saw her after that trip. Inside these bags where these beautiful ceramic leaves with this white bird.
That same day I picked out a few things I wanted to keep that belonged to her. One of those things were her reading glasses.
When I look at them, I see her sense of style, at times so classy and at times funky =)

I woke Sunday morning and went straight to my iphone. I checked my twitter, email and of course FB. All while still in bed. I know I am horrible! {but that is another story for another post}

I don't think I could have said any better. I am writing this from the deepest part of my heart. I am happy woman. God has blessed me and my family. I say that with a smile and a tear. Although I lost my big sister Sylvia in 2009. I miss her everyday. In my quite moments I close my eyes and I can still see her smiling and hear her voice, always telling me mija, "Jesus loves you"
I cry, I laugh and at the end of it all I remember our Lords promises. What an awesome gift! I will see her again. In the mean time she has heaven before we do.
THe Lord has blessed my entire family with such a great extended family and friends that keep us in their daily prayer. I ask that you continue to do so.

Happy Birthday Sylvia!

Our beloved Sylvia became a HERO on October 11, 2009

Sylvia's left kidney and liver were transplanted into a 41 year old woman in southern California. With her gift of life, we are now told that both organs are functioning and that she is doing well.
A 42 year old Southern California woman is the recipient of Sylvia's right kidney. This woman started dialysis in 1997 and with a healthy kidney, she is now free from dialysis.
Sylvia's lungs were transplanted into a 27 year old woman who suffered from cystic fibrosis. This recipient is single and she is a student . With her transplant, she is now doing well and can look forward to leading a healthy life."

First- THANK YOU God for giving me life. For my 3 beautiful children. A husband that loves me to no end and puts up with me. Thank you for my parents. My brother and my sister's families. Thank you God for giving me Sylvia for 35 years to love on this earth. I am thankful for all the love and support my entire family has received by so many! I am oh so thankful that my savior dead on the cross for me!! I am thankful that I am able to stay home and be a mommy! I am enjoying all those moments! Good or bad!
I am thankful for that I am able to do what I love-photography!
I am thankful for my friends-I love you all!

This past weekend Josh and I drove up to San Diego. We stayed at lovely Park Manor Suites Hotel.
We completely feel in love with it's style. The cracked ceiling. The molding. Everything.
The Room was a 2 master suite, with a small balcony. It was nice night away.

Sunday I lost my older sister Sylvia Galvan-Martinez. She was 49 years old.
She was like a second mom to be. She was 15 when I was born.
I'm still in shock, I have my moments. I cry. I scream. I miss her deeply.
I will write more.

Today is my sister's birthday. When we were little mom use to make us celebrate our birthday's together. We hated it, well at least I did. She is 4 yours older then me but are our birthdays are Sept.15th and 30th! Kinda cool, mom had it easy 4 kids 2 born in September and 2 born in December. Not much to remember (until the grandkids came along).
Anyway let me tell you a little bit about my sister and I. We fought like cats and dogs, she hated me around..she loved to beat me up and tell me I had no business wearing make up. She point out all my flaws. That was her job. When I turned 13 years old we stopped fighting and she became by best friend.
I love you Sali and I am so blessed to have you as a sister.

My Saturday {my randomness}

Hello there. This morning I was up at 7:06 am. My punkin Steven was jumping on our bed telling Josh and I he wanted to watch Baby Scooby!
Josh and I are like what? it's too early and it's Saturday. He don't care. He wants to watch baby Scooby!
So here we are looking for it on our DVR..it's not there. We look for it on "On Demand" we only found the big Scooby. Thank Goodness he was happy with that.

I got up out of bed made coffee and started my day. Josh had to go into work...so not cool for him.
The rest of the day was spent running after my kids. Trying to keep Steven from letting the dog in the house. (we are dog sitting for my lovely sister Sali)
Kiko the dog is a cutie.
My niece Ebbs is also staying with us for the weekend.
Anyway the day was spent doing nothing but fun and games. I love bugging Jyllian and asking for her cell phone for random checks...
Little Cyn gave me a 20 minute foot massage. ha ha
Steven played and 'hide and go seek' with Jyll and Miss E.
He counts "1234...tag your it"
Boy was it HOT today. I could only stand being outside for about 30 mins at a time...
I chatting with an old friend from those Texas years. {he now lives in Los Angels...good for him}
i did not pick up my camera today...thats okay because tomorrow I have an early shoot...I plan on taking about 800 frames...
I can't wait.
I booked a high fashion shoot with an actress. She is so pretty I can't wait to do this.

Planning on making a trip to NYC in May of 2010 to visit my lovely friend Michelle. Her baby will be 6 months by then :)

Next weekend I have one session and a baby shower. YAY!
I need out of Corona.

I am hoping that the weather man was not lying and that it should cool down by Monday. This heat has got to go.

This coming week I am designing TWO albums.
One Proofbook
and
One Hard Cover Sewn Album.
I am excited. I already have all the images picked out for both.

My great nephew Zeek was born the day before my birthday 2 years ago. His mother is my niece Vanessa. She is the families first born grandchild. I was 8 years old when she was born. She was like my little sister. We grew up together and I love her to no end. She is an amazing girl. Has amazing voice, the first time I heard her sing in church I was moved to tears!
Her husbands happens to be one of my best friends little brother Mo.
Back to Zeek AKA Red. Last Weekend we celebrated his 2nd Birthday with a Sponge Bob Theme Party. This little boy is a cutie! Why don't you see for yourself.

When I was a little girl I always felt safe and loved. My childhood (0-12) was amazing. When I remember details from my childhood I feel happy. When I was 13 my parents made the decision to move to Texas. I remember I was excited first- The excitement of moving..I had spent many summers in texas with my family. I thought it would be cool. I could still remember driving in to El Paso and stopping at my Grandparents house. I had not been in Texas in the month of March. It was cold and gloomy. No one was outside. The skies was amazing but cold. I immediately felt something was wrong. I felt sadness. I was 13, how did I know at that moment this was a bad mistake.
The next several months we lived in my aunts 'guest house' waiting for our house to be built in the East side.. I hated it. I missed my friends(like Griselda) back home especially my nieces Vanessa and Ashley. I spent many days wondering what my life would be if I was back home in Santa Ana. Of course I did not know how to express my sadness to my parent or anyone else.
For the next 5 years my life was a roller-coster. Moving back and fourth from Texas to California never feeling I belonged. I was angry and depressed. I would start a school year make friends and then from one minute to another we would move.
When I turned 18 and my brother needed me to help him out with his girls while him and his wife commuted from Riverside County to Orange County I jumped on the chance to leave Texas. This was 1993. I left Texas in Jan. 1993 and never looked back. I left with out saying bye to my friends. I did not take with me addresses or phone number to keep in touch. I wanted to forget the last 5 years...DRAMA QUEEN I know. I am leaving OUT lots of details, I don't want to bore you.
Anyway now fast forward to today. I realize as a parent it is easy to make mistakes and not talk with you kids about it. I wished my parents and I had talked. When we finally did I learned that not only my sister and I suffered from this move but so did my mother.
It was extremely difficult to "shake the disease"
My girls have been through a lot in their short lives and I need to remember to make sure I talk with them,put myself in their shoes. Ask God for guidance to be a better parent. I want them to feel free to come to me and Josh with what ever is on their minds.
It's been 21 years since that move. I won't lie I still feel I have to fight back the tears. I need to take a deep breathe and know that I now have a home and I do belong.

I did go back to Texas after 12 years. Christmas 2005 and I have re-connected w/ 5 of my friends and for that I am grateful!

San Diego weekend.

Josh and I went away this past weekend for my birthday. We left Saturday around noon. I was so excited to get away for a day.
We stayed in down town San Diego. We walked up and down those streets. Did I mentioned they where hills...I worked my legs off. I know I needed it. It was great. We ate a lot and took several naps back at the hotel. It was like heaven. I did miss my kids, more then I thought I would :(
We had a nice late night dinner at the cheese cake factory. The food was yummy!!! The cheese cake was excellent!

Sunday morning we drove to antique row and looked around. Josh showed me his old place. Had breakfast at Antique Row Cafe. It was cool.
After breakfast we spent 4 hours at Balboa Park. I really liked it there. The buildings were beautiful. THey have several museums and rose gardens. I took some pictures of course.
It was HOT but so well worth all the walking and spending time with my husband.
I had a great time.

We headed back to Corona around 2 pm. Tired and happy!

Today is my mother in law's birthday. I know 9/11, what a day to have a birthday.
What I remember 8 years ago today. I was 26 years old and home sick with pneumonia and a double ear infection. I remember Damien waking me up to come into the living room to watch the news. I was so out of it and I could not focus to hear what he was saying. All I remember him saying is, "today is a sad day in our history" It took me a while to take in everything I was watching on the TV monitor.
After he left to work I sat in my living room for the rest of the day watching the news.
A day I will never forget. A day that changed us all.

this weekend was exciting.
My monster is using the potty! He wore big boy chonies all weekend.

Today has been great. Had a BBQ with friends in Azusa.

Good times. I had my veggie burgers.

I have pictures to post. Our hosts have an 18 month old saint bernard. He is 120 pounds and just the cutest, his name is Milo.

Weekend was good, had a full house. I saw the Wiggs family. Went over their print order.

Oh, I had a SWEDISH message at Lavish Salon. Tamara you are amazing. I really like that place.

My coma Mary is over. Always good to see her!

I'm ready for my week to start. I have lot's of amazing stuff to look forward too!

Depeche Mode 2009

Last night I went to see Depeche Mode for my 3rd time! I must say this was the best show ever!!
I bought the tickets back in March as a birthday gift for one of best friends and godmother to my son. My Coma Melissa.
My sister Sali(she is my sidekick, we use to only go to concert with each other, no one else was allowed. It was a sister thing)
anyway Sali and her sister in law Veronica went as well. It was Veronica and Melissa first seeing them in concert.
I want to say i had an awesome time. I felt like I was 15 again. They played my 2 favorite songs. FLIES ON THE WINDSCREEN AND HOME! I can't wait for the next time.

If you are a DEPECHE MODE fan you got to see them LIVE. Dave is awesome! His move drive me NUTS!!!

Since my last entry so much has happened!

LIFE IS AWESOME!!!

My dreams are becoming a reality!

I love it!

I'm a mother to a TEENAGER! Jyllian is 13 and in Jr High!

She is a beauty!

Lil Cyn is 11 and TROUBLE! {we are working on that changing}

Steven is 3.5 and wants nothing to do with potty training! Last year he did not speak much, now he won't SHUT UP!!! He is non stop ENERGY that if I could bottle it up I would make MILLIONS!

My parents Saulo & Gloria Galvan celebrated their 50TH ANNIVERSARY yesterday!

I am a proud daughter!!

HMMM let's see what else, we had to move. The owners of our rental lost their home.

We moved in to this awesome new home. I love it. It's so big!

My darling hunny got promoted! He is now director of public safety for his 2 high rises.

Well anyway I am not going to go on and on...I would love too but nah!

Life is still WONDERFUL for the Wardens!

sometimes I feel so happy and anything that comes my way I can handle, then there are those few moments that I am so down..I have a delay in my reactions at times.

over a month ago we planned a trip to Lego land. we have all been excited. now we may not be able to go, some one ran our debit card for a lot of money and in the mean time as we wait to get it handled we may not be able to go.
Why am I so disappointed? maybe because the kid inside me wanted this so bad?

The day is not over so who knows what will happen?
I have not mentioned it to the kids...I won't till I know for sure.

So today I'm sad and this heat does not help my grubbiness.

I loved my Sunday, Josh and the kids played outside for hours.
I am finally feeling better, still have a cough. Hoping for that to go away soon.

where to begin. oh wow it has been such a trying time.
finally ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. I was given this awesome steroid to help clear my lungs and it did but it also messed up my HTN and DM.
After all this I have come to realize how important my focus needs to be on my health so I can be here for years to come and spend many many loving days with my husband and our wonderful kids.
They are my life. They are my everything!
Life is too precious and I need to live it and love it with all that I have in me.
My passions have been found. My family. My husband Josh, my Jyllian, crazy lil Cynthia and our Bubba!
I have made a commit to my life, my health, my family and to do what my heart desires. I am going to go out there and do what I have dreamt about for many years.

Here's to new beginnings.

ok it's been a month.
I am not working, but I am at home doing what a I love the most..being a wife and mommy. Taking care of my family is my greatest reward.
I wish it paid the bills and some.

wow what a year.
jan was nuts..count down to my wedding...i planned 2 bday parties and wedding..all these events took place with 6 weeks.
In Feb. bubba turned the big ONE..and my hunny turned 35! then 3 weeks in March our big was here..our wedding.
It was just what I wanted...well with one exception...my bra...but that is a great story for years to come.
time flew and it was summer time...oh it was super HOT! spent lots of good times with friends.
at the end of summer we moved into this wonder house of ours...we love it here.
September was a blast. My family welcomed my great nephew..ZEEK, he was born the day before my bday..lucky for him..cause i wont share my bday...oh no no how..lol.
my bday was a blast..my hunny and my friends threw my a grand bday party..
then rolls in october...i got a job..a temp job..that was a joke...hahaha..good times no matter what..
november we grubbed. thanks giving day...woo hoo..the bestest of the holiday.
i sure know how to make a turkey! yum!
december i got a non temp job..bubba loves his daycare..mom and dad are her for Christmas...i think that it's becoming my favorite..also after 3 years of no contact with a dear friend of mine..we reconnected and i am ao excited...and i get to see her this saturday...woo hoo!!!!
all my family will gather here at my house on christmas eve..i am super excited!!!!!!!
what a blessed year!!
god has been doubly good to me.

i wanted to come up here and write earlier today but it was 5:40 and well i was freezing.
so here I am now..and it's late. the girls are almost ready for school, they need to be out the door by 8:50...

i wanted to write about my life today..the ups and downs I have.
I've been doing a lot of thinking.
I have questions. I don't believe I have lost myself along the way. (the last 3yrs) but I know I have changed. I am stronger, my focus have sifted. My values have changed. my faith is stronger.
So this is how I see/feel my change.
I start at home. that is where my heart is and i am needed the most and lets face it..it is where i want to be.
I love my home. my husband. my kids. I love this life of mine. my focus in not going out there and getting wasted. and by no means am I judging...but those few people I know that like to leave their kids with a sitter every chance they get to go out and get drunk...well..if that works for you, so be it but that is not for me.
Yes, we plan our dates. we try to go out on dates as time and money allows.
it may be dinner and movie or a good show.
The last few months have been tough money wise. I know it is time to get back out there and join the rat race..it's just been hard to find a job..never in my short career have I struggled with finding a job...my thought on this...and this is where my faith takes me.
when I NEEDED a job or I would be homeless I had a job...that is not case nowadays...I believe all in GOD's time. Like I always say..'he knows what we want..and gives you what you need.' those can be 2 differnt things.
I myself am struggling with 'patients' I need to calm down and turn it over to god and leave it there. holding on to my worries is not going to help me.
I need to focus on what and who needs me and what I have control of...

so all this loss of sleep and stomach butterflys need to go away.
and yes I have control of that.

as of today..I am staying the moment...enjoying how that much the wiser...growing older is awesome...mentally. cause i know i dont look old...haha!
loving my man with all my heart and soul and my kids...they are my loves. my babies.
my pumpkins.

Thanksgiving has come and gone and it was great.

anyway.
on another note.
in the past few days i have realized that certain people/family in my life are not who they claim to be. with me at least....people that i thought were amazing.
all i know is that it's time to weed out those people even if they are family.
i must say i was fooled..but what i am not a fool of is my life. what you see is what it is. full of ups and downs but at the end of the day we are loved and true to ourselves. I am not with someone who does not want to be with me or with someone who treats me like shit...if that is not the case with you all...pretty interesting..
I don't regret a thing...my good intentions were real..just no longer.
hey you all know me...i give for fun and it's for free..no other way.

yeah right.
I am having a tough day.
so much on my mind.
it sucks to say that i am in a bad place right now.
i don't think I have been so upset/sad/depressed in a long time.
October is no longer a happy time.
so much loss.
I miss my nephew. I think of his memorial service and what comes to mind is Damien.
That was the last time we were together. That was the last time my family saw him alive..then a year later in October he was gone. Tomorrow the 28th will be 2 years since he left this earth and yes I want to tell the world to fuck off and leave me the hell alone right now. I miss him; how do you share with others that I at such a young age loved and lost my best friend. Even though Damien and I were separated and I had moved on you all don't know what all happened in those 10 years..
I met him by chance..it was crazy lust turned into crazy love. The kind that is not healthy but what the hell your young and stupid and nothing or no one is going to convince you other wise.
At the end there we knew our marriage was over. We forgave each other.
Damien and I last phone conversation was on 10-17-05. He called me to find out the sex of mine and Josh's baby. I was almost afraid to tell him..it was a boy..
haha..we joked around a lot. He was worried about me..he was worried about my health. He told please take care of yourself...my girls need you for a very long time. he said my girls..meaning his...it was sweet to hear him say that. You need to know that Damien loved his daughters..but with his illness it was painful because he knew they needed him and he was sick. Damien suffered so much with his guilt. He suffered so much..you have no idea. My heart aches for him. I personally have struggled these last two years searching for my feelings and trying to understand them. How can I love two men? There is Damien, my first love. My chunky baby who always came home to me and asked for lovies. He made my life so colorful, but unfortunately life can't always be about throwing caution to the wind..Damien lived wildly, that was him.
Then there is my Josh. What can I say. I found a great man when I look at him and I melt. This love is wonderful, it's what I never had..and yes there are different ways to love. I guess I can say I have had true love twice. With Josh I actually feel it. I feel the love..and that I never had before.
So there we have it..my life is bitter-sweet. my heart shines and it aches. I know it is okay..I am still working out the sadness of my past and well i am only human.
I know I have plenty more good days then bad. I know that I am trully blessed and loved. My Josh understand how important Damien is to me and the girls. If anything Josh has helped understand my grieving. What can I say..all I can think is how it still hurts losing a loved one. Both Isai and Damien.

Sunday night I finally watched transformers the movie.

it was excellent crap. I loved it.

As I watched the movie all I could think about is how much Dam would of loved it. I thought of all the silly ways he would of reacted. He was the biggest kid I knew. Going to the movies with him was always an adventure. Jyllian were talking about how her daddy was a silly man. She and I shared a lot together. We both miss him. It is still hard for me to believe he is gone. Sunday the 28th will be 2 years..gawd I am uneasy. It is so personal my grieving. It hurts. I'm sad at this moment, I don't know how to share this with anyone. It's like they are waiting for me too but I can't.

I think about Damien. I thought for a while all I have is photographs of him, but no I have a part of him..his heart..his girls. Oh how my heart aches.

It's Friday and that is awesome.
not much to say that you all already don't know...or maybe not...
I was working a temp job..it only lased 2 weeks...and now that I remember that was what I was told...depending on the person that was out on leave...well anyway it was cool but towards I was not enjoying it...woman can suck! this was an office of 20 females and maybe half of them hated each other...they did not hide it..they talked so much crap...I'm glad I am out of there...the money was good...so now on to the next assignment.

I have been shopping at the best place in town..BIG LOTS..that place has some treasure. Next I am on to the best flea market in Orange..anyone want to come with?
Amy..?? you know you want too..plus I miss hanging out with you.

Going to the Pumpkin this weekend...Melissa my comadre is coming by with her fiance Joe..can't wait to see them...I maybe cutting my bangs back to betties...and the color black will be back...enough of this natural stuff...lol.

Josh is recovering nicely from his vas.
He has been laying in his recliner since yesterday.
Meanwhile I have been having some fun with the kiddies.
Cynthia D and I took a drive to Old Town Orange and stopped by the
flea market. It was awesome. Found me some cool vintage items.
I bought like 15 things for under $60!
When we got home the kids and I ran around outside with the neighbor's.
I took some pictures of course.
We bought snow cokes and ran around laughing and just having a great ole time.
It is now 9pm and I am beat, I put bubba down for the night and I am off to watch a movie with my hunny down stairs.
I think tomorrow I will get a pedi...it's been long over due.

OMG yesterday was so funny.
I was outside in my front yard talking with a few ladies from the neighborhood.

i have not been blogging much for several reasons.
one being that our office is up-stairs and i am always down below with the kids.
if i do come up here its because Steven is sleeping...but my goodness when I return down stairs..my girls have a bit of a mess.
anyway..its been a roller coaster ride for me these past few weeks. now that we are settled in and loving our home other things come to mind. i have been feeling disconnected from a few of my friends. some have disappointed me. sucks because you all really shouldn't disappoint me...hmmm?!
several of my friends call me their best-friend???Oh yeah that is why i haven't talked to you in about 6 weeks? WTF is that. It actually pisses me off.
I don't call anyone my best friend.
Another thing is why do you all hide? some of you hide and its the stupidest thing...you hide because you are ashamed of your bs life? WTF ever?!?!
It's your life and you are chosing to live it that way..why hide?
lol! I know when I fuck up I'm the first to admit it.
I'm not ashamed.
I'm angry I guess. I'm venting.

sad part is that I have been snaping at Josh for no reason.

I called that morning to confirm out 5 pm meeting. Come to find out he is still out of town, he cant meet till Tuesday.

The phone rings, its the agent's assistant. We can't meet with him till tomorrow...because the paper work is not done...meaning what?????

It's my worst pet peeve, along with wet towels not hung up.
What am I going to do? Here is my treat to them. Once we move the only thing that they are allowed to have in their room is their beds. No toys, no desk, no art sets, no stuffed animal collection. Did I mention I hate stuffed animals. They have about 50 each. grrr!
I know I am upset right now and I will not hold myself to my entire threat. They could have one stuffed animal each in their room.
I need to go now and meditate.

last night m'girls and I had a relaxing time over at Luci's.
All I need to say that it was such an amazing night. We ate some good food, had our feet treated with care, a facial with cucumbers, frozen ones at that. That felt so cooling...then Jessica worked her magic on our hands, arms, legs and even feet!! She added some head touches...I was so relaxed..I could hear Melissa's loud ass outside...hehe!
Our last treat was some 'rocky road ice cream' that was yum yum.
Melissa, Mary and I felt like jelly..we just wanted to go to sleep.

Seeing a house at 11, the bubba and I. Maybe we will visit Aunt Sali and cousin Evenni.

oh my girls are something else.
driving them to school is such a riot.
one is too slow and the other runs out of the car.
saying "good bye-have a great day, i love you" is a must, but sometimes its more like "go,love you!"
then there is bubba waving bye to the 'grls'
after the sandal issue I double check if anything has fallen out the car...and no more pj wearing:)

I have been blessed to have great friends and now I have a few more.

It's wonderful getting to know new people that you share a lot in common with.
the love of our family.

ok now this is funny, yesterday as Amy, the kids and I were leaving I noticed that I only had one chancla in my car..So we went crazy looking for it. When the girls got home I asked them if maybe one happened to make inside the house. No luck.
So I am thinking WTH? where did it go?
Well this morning I showered and instead of getting my reg clothes on I put my pj's on again and drove the girls to school.
My Jyll sat in the front seat..I see the one chancla and once again I ask the girls if they know anything about it? they say no.
I drive up to the school, Jyll and Cyn get out of the car...I notice Jyll draging her feet and insintley I thought the sandal...she probably dranged her foot and it fell and its somewhere on the street..I said this out loud to Jyll and she gave me a look like..huh??!!
The girls say thier 'good-byes' and shut the car door.
I wait a bit to see them walk in to the gated area and I drive off.
So guess WTH I see..the damn chancla in the middle of the school parking lot!
but wait I am in my damn PJ's!!
Oh hell! what to do?
don't want to drive back home and change and come back and its gone!
so I park the car and me and the bubba wait for about 10 mins till the school traffic dies down. So there I go, getting out of my car in my pj's!
too damn funny!
wont be wearing my pj's anymore..you never know!

it went very well.
the boys talked up a storm.
us moms did the same.
so needed.
the boys also shared a bottle of juice behind our backs..
good to know they share well.
felt good to have some company, not just for me but for Steven as well.

yesterday was so so.
started off bad got better than it took 2 steps back.
house hunting is a bitch.
i am striving to maintain a positive outlook.
had some freaky dreams.
woke up a grump.

need to eat and take my Rx.
need to snap out of it. bubba has a play date at 11 with Wyatt.

need to remember it's boredom not depression. I'm torn between getting a job and staying home with my kids. I love it so much but I need some more to do. some kind of adult conversation.

haven't seen Debbie in 3 weeks thank god I see her today.

Pool time is always fun!
We all went swimming yesterday at my friend Cherie's house.
The water was a perfect temperature.
The girls jumped right in and so did dad with Steven. He was a bit scared at first but he got use to it.
We all had a great time!

I'm feeling a little bit lazy today. I did not have to wake up at 5:15 today. Josh was sent to San Diego today for work, so he drove his truck. He called me while stuck in traffic. It had been a while since we talked on the phone on his way to work. He usually reads a book on the train.
Anyway...
Last night we had 'Back to school night' for the girls. It went pretty well. Jyllian's teacher has been a 5th grade teacher at Stahllings for 27 years...She is very nice. She has a lot planned for her students this year!
Cynthia's teacher I know very well. She was Jyll's 3rd grade teacher. So that was cool. We talked about Cynthia and how loud she can be. She informed us that there is another student in her class that makes Cynthia look quite. I was thrilled.
While there I asked her a very important question, one that I have been wondering about since my girls received last years YEARBOOK. I asked her who does the YEARBOOK??? She smiled and gave me a look and I knew at that moment we both felt the same way about it...it SUCKED!
After a long conversation I am going to be helping this year with the YEARBOOK taking pictures and such!
I am excited.
